Rhode Island

So, we went to Rhode Island.

The thing about your senior year of college is that it puts us in a mode where we feel like everything we haven't done needs to be done, and when things that we thought would never happen, happen.

Like this day trip. Something so simple, but still so rare because before this year we had never placed this much weight on going on a trip like this. But everything about this year feels like a giant clock just ticking down, and we have to hurry and try to pick up all the pieces we feel like we might lose before time runs out. Dramatic, I know.

The beauty of being in this state, no matter how dramatic, is that beautiful days like this one come out of it. When we become intentional and proactive, we make memories like these that are irreplaceable. Spent the whole day just eating, laughing, talking, and impromptu dancing. lolz.

Hoping this state of intentionality pushes and carries all of our relationships to new depths. Because time really is winding down, and thinking about a future without the opportunity to have days like this is just a little scary.
